RIM SEAL FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM.

 

 The rim seal firesuppression system on the floating roof tanks consist of a single riser supply of a premix of water foam to the foam pourer.

The phenomenon of column separation occurs downstream of the supply valve, resulting in pressure peaks. (see Video)
